Our Services
- We provide prenatal care in our office in the birth center. Routine appointments are once a month until 28 weeks of pregnancy, every 2 weeks until 36 weeks, then weekly until delivery.
- We are always available if you have questions or concerns. It is our policy to answer calls as quickly as possible.
- We schedule appointments an hour apart so there is plenty of time for questions and discussion of your concerns.
- You are encouraged to bring family and/or friends to your appointments.
- Lab work is done in our office and we will provide you with information about each test so that you can make an informed decision about your care.
- Attendance at your birth includes support during labor, monitoring the condition of both mother and baby, and our assistance during the delivery of the baby. At least two midwives attend each birth.
- We provide postpartum care for mother and baby. We see you at your home 24 hours after the birth. We see you again during the first week. At these visits we can do newborn metabolic screening and have you sign the birth certificate. You continue to see us at the office for postpartum follow-up until 6-8 weeks after the birth.
